ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The requirements for admission to study in Canada for higher education depend on the particular educational institution. However, here’s a typical set of requirements to join a Canadian university:
- Submit the completed application along with copies of the transcripts and certificates as well as mark sheets of basic education required for admission to the course.
- The above documents may be sent electronically or otherwise directly from the institution that issues them or through authorized or licensed third-party providers.
- You must submit your language proficiency test results to prove your English language skills. You must have scored the required number of marks/bands needed to qualify. Here’s a sample:

COST OF EDUCATION
The cost of education varies between institutions. However, in general, you will spend CAD 20,000 to 30,000 a year for UG programs. PG programs cost around CAD 16,000 a year. If you are going for executive MBA programs, you could spend around CAD 30,000 a year.
You can however make your study in Canada cost-effective. For this, you may utilize programs such as international student exchanges if your university in your home country has tie-ups with Canadian universities.
COVID-19 RELATED GUIDANCE TO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
International students can enter Canada if:
- they had a study permit Canada deemed valid by March 18, 2020, or
- their DLI (Designated Learning Institution) has an approved readiness plan for COVID-19.
International students may also pursue their study program online at a Canadian DLI and retain the eligibility for a PGWP (Post-Graduation Work Permit) after they are done with their studies.
