Non-immigrant permits
Non-immigrant visas are particularly for temporary study, visit, business, work, or vacation purposes.

Immigrant permits
The immigrant permit is for people who wish to migrate to the U.S. Candidates will receive a Green card at the port of entry.
Upon approval, the green card will replace the temporary I-551 as proof of P.R. for a year. This will be done via a CBP admission stamp.
