Switzerland reopen borders

Switzerland goes a step forward to ease border restrictions with France, Italy, and Austria. The border with these countries will be reopened at 15 crossings, in 8 cantons as part of this second stage of the partial relaxation of the COVID-19 preventive restrictions.

Switzerland had closed its borders on March 25, 2020, to prevent the spreading of COVID-19. Now, since the situation has turned more conducive to think of returning to normal, the country has considered opening borders. Nevertheless, it has not yet decided to open the borders with Germany.
