On January 21, 2021, Saskatchewan held a PNP draw that invited new immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada PR.The 502 Candidates invited by SINP belonged to the category of International Skilled Worker. They belonged to its sub-categories of Occupations In-demand and Express Entry.
The distribution of invitations sent among candidates according to sub-categories was as follows:
- Express Entry – 189
- Occupations In-demand – 313
Candidates invited to work in Canada had work experience in one of the 79 occupations specified by the province. The province used the EOI system to pick candidates with great potential to be successful in the province’s labor market. These candidates must demonstrate that they are committed to living in Saskatchewan. For this, they are required to showcase their education, work experience, age, language skills, and connections to the province.
The selection of candidates by SaskatchewanPNP is done based on the ranking given to their profiles out of 100 on the Points Assessment Grid of the International Skilled Worker category. The highest scorers are issued ITAs for a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan.
The candidates invited in this draw had their EOI profiles with the SINP. Every candidate required to get a minimum score of 77 on the Points Assessment Grid.
