Quebec has introduced a new system wherein employers can directly access the Arrima database to recruit immigrant job seekers willing to work in Canada. The announcement of this new system was made on November 5, 2020, by Nadine Girault, Quebec’s Minister of Immigration, Francization, and Integration.
On November 5, 2020, the new functionality was made available to businesses as a service offered by the Quebec Ministry of Immigration. Now the businesses can go directly to the Ministry’s website, check out the profiles of Canada immigration candidates, and offer a suitable job for a suitable candidate. They would even initiate the immigration process.

With this new facility, it will be easier for companies in Quebec to identify the best workers to meet their labor needs.

The employer’s portal has been in operation as a free service since June 27, 2019. Through the portal, a company can get local personalized support by a Ministry advisor to access the portal. The novel version of the employer’s portal has been open to access since November 5, 2020.
Companies who want to access the employer’s portal must first create a profile in Arrima, the online portal for EOI for international candidates who are willing to immigrate to Quebec.
Then, the company can request online assistance. In response, the company will receive a personalized response from an advisor in the Ministry. This will be done within 5 working days. Once access is granted, the company can go ahead to do research and find the best workers.
