On September 15, 2022, a PEI PNP draw was conducted through which 147 Canada immigration candidates were nominated for a Canada PR visa. The candidates selected came from the streams of the Business Work Permit Entrepreneurs and Labor & Express Entry stream.

Of the total invitations issued over the last 12 months, those sent for Business stream constituted 8% and 92% were issued to Labor stream candidates.
Compared to the last draw in August 2022, the threshold for minimum points for Business invitations came down by 12 points to 85 in this draw.
PEI PNP draws are conducted once a month. The declaration of the draw is issued at some time between the 15th and 20th of every month. In August 2022, PEI PNP invited 123 candidates. This was the lowest number of invitations issued in the year 2022.

Till now, the largest PEI PNP draw was conducted in October 2021. In that round of invitations, 204 applicants got nominated for Canada PR. In all, till now, PEI PNP issued 1,259 invitations in 2022.
