Human Capital Priorities Stream – Targeted Tech draws
The tech-specific draws conducted by OINP take place via the Human Capital Priorities Stream of the OINP, as it happened with this draw. This pathway allows those Canada immigration candidates with a profile in the Express Entry pool to apply for a visa to come and work in Ontario as a tech professional. There's a list of approved occupations in the tech sector that OINP uses to filter out eligible candidates who are resourceful and required to fill key job vacancies in the province. In 2022 till date, Ontario invited 4,012 candidates under the HCP stream.
