Here are a few financial requirements for Ontario PNP Entrepreneur Stream:
Net worth
- You must have a minimum net worth of $800,000 in case the business you proposed to run in Ontario will be in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). If the business is outside the GTA, the minimum net worth is $400,000.
- In case your proposed business is in either digital communications or ICT, you must have a minimum net worth of $400,000 anywhere in the province.

Investment and Ownership
- You must invest a minimum of $600,000 in a business in Ontario and have ownership of at least 33% if your business is in GTA.
- If your business is outside GTA, invest a minimum of $200,000 and have a minimum ownership of 33%.
- If the business you proposed is in either digital communications or ICT or, you have to make a minimum investment of $200,000. You must also own a minimum of 33% anywhere in the province.

Non-financial requirements of Ontario Entrepreneur Stream
- You require a minimum of 24 months full-time business experience in the past 60 months, as an owner or senior manager.
- You must create at least 2 full-time jobs for Canada PR holders/Canadian citizens in your proposed company in case the business is located inside the GTA. The minimum number of full-time jobs created is 1 if your business is located outside the GTA or if your business is in either digital communications or ICT.
- You have to make a visit to explore Ontario. This must be done in the 12 months before filing your application. (Only applicable to those buying an existing business in the province).
- You must have a minimum CLB 4 in English/French.
- You must physically reside in Ontario for not less than 75% of the time you are managing the business.
