The appointment system by Service Canada intended to schedule biometrics appointments for Canada immigration will reopen on November 30, 2020.This will enable IRCC clients to book their own appointments for biometrics online.
As of November 30, 2020, clients who haven’t been contacted yet should use the online scheduling tool in order to schedule their appointments on their own. The instructions will be given in their biometrics instruction letter.
Clients should select the nearest Service Canada office to fix an appointment. None other than those who have taken an appointment can use the service. This is because walk-ins are currently unavailable.
Canada PR applicants without biometrics enrolment made within the last 10 years will need an appointment to complete the biometric requirement attached to their application.
Health and safety protocols will be followed in Service Canada centers. It’s expected of the clients also to follow these health and safety guidelines.
