What is Ontario Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream
It’s an immigration stream under the OINP that offers skilled foreign workers having the necessary skilled work experience, education, and language skills the opportunity to apply for Canada PR so that they can live and work in Ontario.
The first step in getting to immigrate via this stream is that the candidate gets provincially nominated by Ontario. After that, the candidate will be eligible to apply for Canada PR after being invited via a federal Express Entry draw.
Eligibility for the Ontario Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream
The candidate must:
- Have an Express Entry profile that’s active
- Meet the requirements for eligibility for either FSWP or CEC
- Meet the work experience requirements of the Stream
- Have a Canadian Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree or a foreign education credential that’s equivalent to that
- Achieve a minimum language proficiency level of CLB 7
- Be willing to live in Ontario
- Have enough funds to meet the costs of settling in Ontario
