Keeping up the efforts to find skilled immigrants to immigrate to the province, Manitoba conducted another round of invitations on December 16, 2022. Through this draw, 249 candidates received an offer for a PR nomination to immigrate to Canada.

Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream
This stream comes under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba category. It aims to attract those foreign nationals who have gained work experience in Manitoba. They must be working in Manitoba while applying with the MPNP. The competitiveness of this stream is very high. Under this stream, only the most competitive candidate profiles are selected.
Skilled Workers Overseas Stream
Manitoba uses this immigration stream as a pathway to nominate immigration applicants who have a connection to the province of Manitoba to demonstrate. This will be done through one of the following:
- previous education/work experience in Manitoba
- the support of friends/family members
- an ITA (Invitation to Apply) issued by MPNP and received directly by the applicant directly with a Strategic Recruitment Initiative involved in the process.
International Education Stream
Meant for bringing in international graduates from Manitoba, this stream is dedicated to attracting such candidates to meet the worker requirements of the industries in Manitoba. This stream offers a faster pathway to a nomination for international graduates.
Under this stream, there are three pathways namely:
- Graduate Internship Pathway
- Career Employment Pathway
- ISEP (International Student Entrepreneur Pilot)
In case the candidate is an international student holding graduation from another province of Canada, that person won't have the eligibility to apply under this stream. Nevertheless, they can choose to apply under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba pathway.
