Ireland needs 8,000 Chefs; Work in Ireland under the Irish Employment Permit Scheme

Irish government planning to recruit foreign immigrants as Chefs for Restaurants. The RAI (Restaurants Association of Ireland) stated that there is a rise in the requirement for Chefs which is continuous.

As the existing restaurant businesses are unable to find skilled Chefs, the government is looking for overseas skilled workers in Hotel Industry, especially Chefs.

Increase in skills shortage in Ireland

Ireland currently has a 7,000-8,000 shortage of Chefs. This number is going more than 3,000 per year. The country’s Restaurants association has decided to hire Chefs from around the world to handle the skills shortage.
