Highlights: #260 Express Entry draw issued 800 ITAs!

• IRCC conducted a targeted Express Entry draw on August 02, 2023.
• The draw targeted French language proficiency and issued invites to 800 eligible candidates.
• The minimum CRS cut-off score for the draw was 435.
• Two French language proficiency draws were held in July 2023 and invited 6,100 candidates.

French category-based Express Entry draws

• Category-based selection draws were first announced on May 31, 2023.
• Six primary categories were introduced as a part of the category-based draws:
  • Healthcare occupations
  • Transport occupations
  • Trade occupations
  • French- language proficiency
  • Agriculture and Agri-food occupations
  • STEM occupations
• The first French language proficiency category-based draw was conducted on July 7, 2023, and invited 2,300 candidates.
• The second French language proficiency category-based draw followed on July 15, 2023, and invited 3,800 eligible candidates.
