As per the Survey, tech professionals can earn around $80,000 per year in industries like Govt., e-commerce, telecommunication and manufacturing.

According to the Dice Salary Survey, there is also a discrepancy in the yearly increase in salaries among various sectors. Sectors like aerospace which offer a high pay show a significant yearly increase in salaries. However, sectors like education which pay less show a decline in the yearly increase in salaries.
The survey states that salaries for tech professionals have levelled off between 2017 and 2018. This could be the reason for the disparity between the salaries of tech workers in different industries.
Industries are now only willing to shell out a certain amount to techies even though they may be handling critical functions.
