Can I control my CRS score for Canada immigration?
There are 2 types of scores that you can get under CRS: the core score and additional scores.
The core score is up to 600 points that can be obtained considering the following factors:
- Skills and experience factors
- Skills transferability, including education and work experience
- Spouse/common-law partner and their language skills, education, etc.
The additional score is up to 600 points that can be obtained considering the following factors:
- Canadian degrees, diplomas, or certificates
- a nomination from a province or territory
- a valid job offers
- strong French language skills
- a brother/sister living in Canada who's a Canada PR/citizen
