The BC PNP conducted its latest draw on September 19, 2018, for its Skills Immigration, Entrepreneur Immigration, and Express Entry BC streams. 427 Invitations to Apply (ITA) were issued to candidates seeking a provincial nomination.
Candidates with the highest scores regularly receive invitations from the BC PNP under its Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS), as per CIC News.
Candidates who receive ITA’s under the Express Entry BC stream get an additional 600 points on their CRS (Comprehensive Ranking Score). Candidates who receive a provincial nomination under the BC PNP Skills Immigration Stream will have their Permanent Residency applications process by IRCC outside the EE system. All Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration candidates need to have a full-time offer of employment from an employer in the province of BC.
The major requirement of the BC Entrepreneur Immigration category is that candidates should have access to CAD 200,000 to invest in a new or existing business in BC.
