Canada issued invites to 5,000 Express Entry candidates on April 1, 2021. They were invited to apply for Canada PR. The chosen candidates were eligible for CEC having earned a minimum score of 432. Hence, they are fit to receive an ITA.
The tie-break rule was applied in the draw with the timestamp of February 16, 2021, at 09:51:22 UTC implemented. The draw was the third-lowest CRS cut-off for a CEC draw in the times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This draw again demonstrated how IRCC is prioritizing CEC candidates in Express Entry draws for Canada immigration. Earlier in 2021, on February 13, 27,332 CEC immigration candidates were invited by IRCC. This brought the total number of ITAs issued in 2021 to 49,124.
