Canada Immigration Levels Plan 2023-2025 released on November 1, 2022
Canada Immigration Levels Plan is a guide which helps in deciding the number of individuals to be invited every year to migrate to Canada. The immigration goals of the country include the following:

- Family reunification
- Asylum offering to refugees

Targets increased for Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Programs, 2023-2025
Candidates usually use the Express Entry system or Provincial Nominee Program to submit an application for a Canada PR visa. The targets for the following types of applicants for Express Entry will increase in this plan:
- Principal Applicants
- Spouses
- Dependent children

Increase in the Family Class Sponsorship and PGP target
Family class sponsorship is the second pathway after the economic pathways to provide permanent residence to individuals. Under the family class immigration programs, a spouse, family member, children, or partner has to sponsor the applicants. The number of applicants to be invited each year through the Spouses, Partners and Children program will be around 80,000 each year
The increase in Parents and Grandparents Program targets has also been increased to more than 30,000.
