British Columbia conducted a BC PNP draw on September 21, 2021, to invite 74 tech-skilled immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination. The draw was held under the BC PNP tech program.
The BC PNP tech draw
The BC PNP tech is a fast-track Canada immigration program that’s designed for international students and tech workers who are in demand. It’s actually a pilot program that has been indefinitely extended and renamed as “BC PNP Tech”.
Through this program, tech employers in British Columbia can recruit and retain skilled international workers when such talented candidates aren’t available for work locally in the province.
Through BC PNP Tech, skilled workers in 29 tech occupations get a prioritized pathway to Canada PR.

Some information about the BC PNP draws
The frequency of rounds of invitations to apply for a provincial nomination is determined by the number of nominations allocated to British Columbia. The allocation comes from IRCC. The ability of the province to process applications in a timely way also determines the number and frequency of issuing invitations.
