British Columbia yet again welcomed more immigration candidates through 2 BC PNP draws held on August 31, 2021. A total of 488 immigration candidates were invited via these 2 draws and the month of August was closed on a high note.
The first draw was held as a generic draw. This was the usual kind of draw where eligible Express Entry candidates were chosen and issued invitations to apply for a provincial nomination. The provincial nomination leads to the opportunity to apply for Canada PR. BC PNP held the generic draw in the following manner.

The second draw was aimed at immigration candidates with experience in specific occupations indicated by NOC codes 0621 and 0631.
NOC 0621 - Retail and wholesale trade managers
These are professionals tasked with the duties of planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating an establishment’s operations. These establishments could be engaged in the sales of merchandise or providing services on a retail/wholesale basis.
NOC 0631 - Restaurant and food service managers
These managerial staff members deal with the planning, organizing, direction, control, and evaluation of operations of bars, restaurants, cafeterias, and other food & beverage services.
