There were 2 separate draws that were held, as it was taking place since February 2021. The first one was a general draw and the second was a targeted one aiming at restaurant & food service managers and wholesale & retail trade managers.

- British Columbia has announced the temporary pause of the intake of fresh registrations under the Entrepreneur Immigration stream.
- The pause will affect only the registration under the base category.

- The temporary pause helps authorities review the Entrepreneur Immigration – Base category to make sure that it continues to meet its objectives. These objectives are to support the priorities of the government and economic recovery.
- British Columbia hinted that it would issue an update in early 2022 so that prospective candidates are informed of when registration will resume.
