The accommodation and food services saw an increase of 12 percent jobs in September 2022 in comparison to August 2022. The total number of jobs available in this sector is 152,400.
Retail Trade
The number of jobs in the retail trade increased up to 117,300 in September 2022. The job vacancy rate in this sector was 5.5 percent and it is hiring candidates continuously to fill the workforce demands.
Professional Scientific and Technical Services
Professional Scientific and Technical Services sector consists of many sub-sectors which include:
- Accounting
- Legal services
- Architectural and engineering
- Computer systems design
- Management consulting
- Advertising
- Public relations
The number of jobs available in this sector in September 2022 was 61,900. There is an on-going requirement of workers in the coming months in this sector.
Manufacturing
The number of jobs available in this sector in September 2022 was 76,000 though in August it was 92,100. The number of job vacancies was reduced because of the contraction of the industry. Still, there is a high demand for workers in this sector.
